Since our sponsor, Fantasiapelit, moved to a new location last month we lost our club space. Getting slightly better at painting the wood. More subtle effect works better.
15mm Essex figures with AB trumpeteers. Oxfordshire regiment was light infantry.
1/72 Albatros C.III from Pegasus. This was my first try of painting wooden fuselage and the effect should be way more subtle.
A half battalion of Savo Infantry in winter dress. 15mm Minifigs Austrians with minor conversion to the headgear.
C-in-C for the 15mm DBM Mordor army, the Witch King of Angmar. The nazgul is converted from by adding torso of wraith to a knight and is wearing iron crown made from florist’s wire. I think all figures are from Essex.
Four platoons on 20mm Finns converted from Revell, Airfix and Matchbox Germans and Russians. In the front there is the company commander flanked by ammo supply and dressing station. Notice how the platoons can be distinguished from the terrain features or from the color band on the back which also contains numerical designation for each unit.
6mm Navwar figures for western desert based for Spearhead. 4 companies, support company and battalion HQ.
